System Checkups & Audits
 
Sprinkler System Checkup - Irrigation Dynamics will come to your home or place of business and check your sprinkler system to see if anything is malfunctioning or out of adjustment.  We will look at the sprinkler heads, valves, controller, and other parts of your system.
 
If there are repairs needed, we will provide you an estimate of the cost of these repairs.  Please note that it is difficult to closely estimate the cost of repairs to wiring, valves, and broken pipelines without performing some initial troubleshooting.  The checkup does not include a test of the backflow preventer.  We will arrange this service through a third party if you like.

Irrigation System Audit - this is a complete evaluation of a sprinkler system that includes taking measurements of the systems precipitation rate, calculating the system's uniformity, and compiling an irrigation schedule for the system.  This is suitable for large water users such as parks, apartment complexes, schools, and cemeteries, and should be performed after all needed repairs have been made.
 
Upgrades to Existing Systems
 
Did you know that the typical lawn sprinkler system is only about 50% efficient? (This means that nearly twice as much water is applied as necessary.)  The following upgrades can help make your system more efficient:
 
Smart controllers automatically adjust for current weather conditions so that you water more when you need to and less when you don't.
 
Rain and freeze sensors automatically shut off the system to conserve water and prevent ice on sidewalks and streets.
 
Renozzling systems with poor performance.  New nozzles are available that have a greater distance of throw with less water making it possible to improve the performance of underdesigned systems.
 
Adding new sprinkler heads.  No more dry or underwatered areas.
 
Conversion of manual systems to automatic.  No more having to remember when to turn off the water.
 
Installing drip irrigation in flowerbeds and in other areas where sprinklers aren't suitable. 
 

Repair & Maintenance Services
 
Irrigation Dynamics offers the following repair and maintenance services:
 
Buried wire and valve location.  Are you getting ready to do some landscaping or adding a driveway or an addition to your home?  It's best to find the valves and wiring ahead of time to avoid problems in the future.
 
Controller resetting and installation.  Some controllers are complicated and hard to reset so we will do that for you.  We also install new, easy to understand and operate controllers.  If you just need a manual, please check our list of controller links to download a manual at no charge.
 
Valve and controller troubleshooting.   Sometimes valves will stick on or off.  Irrigation Dynamics can find and repair the problem.
 
Repair of broken and leaking pipes.

Raising sprinkler heads to clear turf and improve wetting pattern.

Monthly Maintenance Program - a subscription service where the sprinkler system is checked, repairs and adjustments made, and the controller reset to meet current watering requirements.
